Life is better with a marg in hand, so here’s a simple recipe for a classic cocktail with an Appalachian twist. Squeeze a few limes, sub moonshine for tequila (duh), and shake shake. Oh, and trust us on the salt/sugar mix rim, because it’s subtle differences like that that really make a drink.
1.5oz End of the Line Scared Straight Moonshine
3oz lime juice
0.5oz orange liqueur
A dash of simple syrup
Salt/sugar mix for rim
Add moonshine, lime juice, orange liqueur, and simple syrup to a mixing glass and stir well. Then prepare your salt/sugar mix in equal parts on a saucer. Dip the rim of your rocks glass in water and then the salt/sugar mix, then fill the glass with ice. Pour cocktail mix over ice and garnish with a lime.
